What the testing shows

The numbers behind the spring.

Drawn from peer-reviewed research on carbon fibre insoles and our own testing with a certified pedorthist and real athletes. Carbon fibre insoles have been shown to increase vertical jump and sprint speed, with university testing recording average gains of 1 to 1.6 inches, and top responders adding 2.5 inches or more.

Not a gimmick. A structure.

The V2 is built in layers, each doing a job: a 100% carbon fibre baseplate for the spring, a high-support polyurethane layer for stability, a contoured arch that bends with your foot, and heel-to-toe shock prevention through the stack.

It is stiffer than the foam you are used to, on purpose. That stiffness is the spring, and it is why athletes describe the feel as "springy but firm" from the very first session.

Anatomy of the plate

Four zones, four jobs.

The V2 is not one flat spring. Each part of the plate is shaped for what your foot does there, from the moment your heel lands to the instant you leave the ground.

Heel

Elastic shock absorption

Your heel takes the first hit on every step and landing. This zone is built to soak it up, with up to 40% better shock absorption than a standard insole, so your joints do less of the work.

Midfoot

Arch support and stability

A contoured, flexible arch supports the foot and keeps you planted through cuts and quick changes of direction, without ever locking the foot rigid.

Energy return and explosiveness

This is where the plate pays you back. Load stored through your stride releases at toe-off and adds to your acceleration off the ground.

Comfortable polyurethane layer

A polyurethane top sheet sits between your foot and the plate for a comfortable, planted feel. The firmness you notice is the spring, not a hot spot.

The technology

A curve, not a flat sheet.

The V2 plate carries a real curve, tuned across the arch with 3D foot-scanning and plantar-pressure mapping. It works with the natural shape of your stride instead of fighting it, then springs back where a flat insole would just sit there.

Karl Kang, our certified pedorthist, built the V2 by working with NBA G League athletes. The curve and the carbon were tuned against feet that punish anything less, which is also why it stays comfortable through a full day and a full game.

We built CRBN directly with Karl Kang, a pedorthist certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics, with over 25 years designing quality insoles.
