CRBN Insoles

FAQ

Everything you'd want to know.

If your question isn't here, email us, a real person replies, usually the same day.

The product

What exactly is inside a CRBN V2?

Four working layers: a full-length 100% carbon-fibre baseplate (the spring), a high-support polyurethane layer, a contoured arch that bends naturally with your foot, and a printed top sheet. Heel-to-toe shock prevention is built into the stack.

Are carbon fibre insoles legal in my sport?

An insole doesn't change your shoe's compliance in normal club, school and rep competition, carbon plates are already common in the shoes themselves. We're not aware of any Australian basketball, netball, volleyball or football competition that restricts insoles. If you compete at an elite level with strict equipment rules, check your federation's gear list before game day.

How long does break-in take?

Give them 3–5 sessions. Carbon fibre is stiffer than the foam you're used to, that stiffness is the spring. Most athletes feel 'springy but firm' on day one and fully dialled-in within a week. Start with training sessions before game day. Still not feeling it after 30 days? That's what the guarantee is for.

How long do they last?

The carbon plate is the point: it doesn't pack out or go soft the way foam does, so the spring stays. The printed top sheet wears like any quality insole, depending on your hours on court. If anything fails early, email us, faulty products are covered regardless of the guarantee window.

Do I remove my shoe's factory insole?

Yes, the CRBN V2 replaces it completely. Pull the factory insole out (most lift straight out), slide the CRBN in flat, and check the heel sits flush. Keep the factory pair as a backup and sizing reference.

Can I move one pair between shoes?

Yes. Most athletes swap theirs between trainers and game shoes in seconds, just pull out each shoe's factory insole first, and keep to shoes of the same size.

I have flat feet or foot pain, will CRBN help?

CRBN V2 is a performance insole with a supportive contoured arch, it is not a medical device, and we won't pretend otherwise. For foot pain or a diagnosed condition, see a podiatrist or pedorthist first.

How do I clean them?

Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry. Don't submerge them, machine-wash them, or use harsh chemicals.

Fit & sizing

How do I pick my size?

CRBN sizing follows Nike sizing. Sizes come in ranges (7.5/8 up to 12.5/13) with US Mens and US Womens fits, chosen at checkout. If you wear another brand or sit between sizes, measure your foot heel-to-longest-toe in centimetres and use the table on our sizing page.

My shoes are narrow or low-volume, will they fit?

Most athletic shoes take the CRBN V2 easily once the factory insole is out. Very narrow or low-volume shoes (some football boots, custom fits) can be tight. If they don't work in your shoe, the guarantee covers you, one of our four-star reviews is from an athlete with custom narrow shoes who got a full refund within two days.

What if I order the wrong size?

Email us. Within the 30-day guarantee window we'll sort a return so you can get the right size, see the refund policy for condition requirements.

Shipping

How fast is delivery in Australia?

Free express shipping Australia-wide, no minimum spend. Orders are dispatched from Sydney within 1–3 business days and typically arrive 2–5 business days after dispatch. You'll get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.

Do you ship to New Zealand and internationally?

Yes. New Zealand orders typically arrive in 5–10 business days, and the rest of the world in 7–21. International shipping is calculated at checkout. Any import duties or taxes charged by your country are the customer's responsibility.

Guarantee & returns

How does the 30-Day Feel-The-Difference Guarantee work?

Train in them. Play in them. If you're not feeling the difference within 30 days of delivery, email us and send them back for a full refund of the purchase price. The insoles need to reflect normal testing, not excessive wear or modification. This guarantee is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Who pays return shipping?

For change-of-mind and guarantee returns, you cover the return postage. If a product is faulty or arrives damaged, we cover shipping and give you a full refund or replacement, contact us with photos and your order number.
