What changes on court

Three things you feel by the first session.

This isn't a slow burn. Athletes describe the difference as springy but firm the moment they stand up, and it sharpens as the plate breaks in.

Jump

+2–3 in

vertical, on average

The plate stores the energy of your dip and gives it back at take-off. Our athlete testing with a certified pedorthist averaged two inches of added vertical.

Speed

Faster

sprints & first steps

A stiff forefoot stops your push dying in soft foam, so more of the force you generate goes into the floor on every stride and cut.

Protection

−25–30%

peak impact forces

Carbon fibre insoles are associated with sharply lower peak impact forces on jumps, landings and direction changes, with athletes reporting fewer common sports injuries.

The build

V2. Rebuilt from the plate up.

Our first insole sold out faster than we could restock it, so we took it back to the workshop. V2 bends naturally with the arch of your foot and returns energy more powerfully than before, while staying flexible enough to support every movement.

Every V2 starts as this schematic: a full-length carbon plate tuned to bend with the arch, under a printed top sheet. Drag the scan line and the drawing becomes the pair that ships.

BUILD SPEC — FOUR-LAYER STACK

  • 01FULL-LENGTH · HEEL TO TOE

    100% carbon-fibre baseplate

A single carbon-fibre plate runs the entire length of the insole. Under load it flexes and snaps back, returning the energy that foam simply absorbs. It is the spring in the system.

  • 02STABILITY · NO DEAD WEIGHT

    High-support polyurethane layer

The interface between foot and plate. High-support polyurethane keeps the foot seated and stable over the carbon without adding dead weight to every stride.

  • 03ARCH-TUNED FLEX PROFILE

    Contoured arch

The plate is contoured to the arch of the foot, so it bends naturally with you through every jump, sprint and cut instead of fighting the movement.

  • 04IMPACT CONTROL · FULL STACK

    Heel-to-toe shock prevention

Shock management is built into the stack itself, absorbing impact from first heel contact through toe-off.

Unreal bounce

Honestly it feels like cheating. I can grab the rim now and I've never been able to before. Every jump feels powered. I recommend these to anyone trying to level up.

Changed running

The insoles have changed running for me. firstly, the shock absorbtion has reduced knee pain SO MUCH, made my shin splints almost go away and overall just feel so much more comfortable especially at long distance. I have measured, and the energy return has taken time off my racing distances over the first few weeks of using them, for long and short distance. Recommend 1000%

Helped my son's injuries

My 16 year old son plays club basketball and was constantly coming home with sore knees. We even went to the physio who recommended expensive orthotics. I decided to try CRBN instead and it has been the best purchase. His pain has gone away and he says he feels more explosive on the court. I've noticed he recovers faster after tournaments too.

track sprinter review

I'm a 100/200 guy and put CRBNs in my trainers and spikes. Noticed more pop out of blocks and def less fatigue in my shins. Also helped reduce my pronation a bit which is always good for ankles. Not gimmicky like I thought.

The CRBN insoles V2 really helped me in volleyball. Landing feels much softer and feel so much springier. Taking care of my feet really is worth it and I would buy another pair 10/10

explosive energy

The first time I tried CRBN I felt like my legs were loaded springs. It's not subtle, the responsiveness is immediate. Landings feel cushioned, takeoffs feel like you're being launched. I've shaved time off my sprints too.

These insoles are incredible. I can feel the difference every single jump. Layups, rebounds, even just running down the court feels smoother. If you are serious about basketball, you need these.

The guarantee

It works. Or it's yours to return.

Quick answers

Before you ask.

All questions, answered
How long does break-in take?

Give them 3–5 sessions. Carbon fibre is stiffer than the foam you're used to, that stiffness is the spring. Most athletes feel 'springy but firm' on day one and fully dialled-in within a week. Start with training sessions before game day. Still not feeling it after 30 days? That's what the guarantee is for.

How do I pick my size?

CRBN sizing follows Nike sizing. Sizes come in ranges (7.5/8 up to 12.5/13) with US Mens and US Womens fits, chosen at checkout. If you wear another brand or sit between sizes, measure your foot heel-to-longest-toe in centimetres and use the table on our sizing page.

Are carbon fibre insoles legal in my sport?

An insole doesn't change your shoe's compliance in normal club, school and rep competition, carbon plates are already common in the shoes themselves. We're not aware of any Australian basketball, netball, volleyball or football competition that restricts insoles. If you compete at an elite level with strict equipment rules, check your federation's gear list before game day.

How does the 30-Day Feel-The-Difference Guarantee work?

Train in them. Play in them. If you're not feeling the difference within 30 days of delivery, email us and send them back for a full refund of the purchase price. The insoles need to reflect normal testing, not excessive wear or modification. This guarantee is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
